Es war schon immer möglich von Googletalk nach Jabber zu chatten genauso wie von Jabber nach Googletalk.

Denn Googletalk bzw. Googlemail ist nichts anderes als Jabber bzw. XMPPl!

ALSO LIEGE ICH ZU 100 PROZENT RICHTIG, HERR CHRIS!

Und ebenso war es als Googletalk-Nutzer wie von mir vermutet schon immer möglich, mit AIM, ICQ und MSN-Usern usw. zu chatten durch die Einrichtung eines Transports: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabber-Transport

Aber AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, Skype und MSN ist alles proprietärer, eingeschränkter Mist. Man hat weniger Möglichkeiten, kann keine eigenen Server aufsetzen, muss dubiosen Datenschutzbestimmungen zustimmen, für Unternehmen untauglich ...

... taugt nichts im Gegensatz zu Jabber!
